After years and years of saving for a downpayment, I just kept seeing the gap widen between our savings and what it cost to own a home. My work isn’t 1 that where I can make just a ton of money. But it’s our calling and so I’ve just adapted to the money side of things. Still, I wanted to get out of the weak heating and cooling of home life and into our own place. Finally, I just decided that if I couldn’t do it the traditional way, I’d find an alternative. My alternative was a tiny house. But our tiny home still comes with all the quality heating and air I had dreamed of for so long. Living in a tiny home was something that I had initially ruled out. I wanted a traditional home with central a/c a yard and a big dining room. Well, the only thing I had to provide up with our current home is the big dining room. However, I have a wrap around deck which allows myself and others to do a lot of grilling now and that kind of makes up for it. The heating and cooling is supplied by a pair of ductless heat pumps. And they do a fantastic task. My tiny home is a bit unusual in that it has more square footage as it’s not on a trailer. The ductless heat pumps make some extreme quality heating and air available for myself and others in mere hours. I’m particularly pleased to be a homeowner and paying a mortgage and I’m also thrilled to have the sort of heating and cooling comfort that I always wanted.
