I was called in for an interview at the local Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer. I had put applications in for every Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation in a ten-mile radius of where I lived. When I got called to come in for an interview, I forgot to ask for their address. I had the name of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer, but that wasn’t enough to find our way there. I stopped & asked someone at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation nearest to our condo if they could supply myself and others directions to the local Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer. I gave them the name of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation & she said she had never heard of them. I couldn’t believe she was being honest. I ended up talking to someone else who was parked at the grocery store. She was in an Heating, Ventilation & A/C service van. She chuckled & said that she didn’t guess that name, but there was an Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation about 2 blocks from there. I looked around, realizing the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation she was referring had been the one I had just come from. OK. So maybe I had written the wrong name down. I walked into the Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer, gave them our name & told them I had been called for an interview. The owner came out & greeted myself and others with a smile. She apologized & said she didn’t know me, even though she was sure she had given myself and others a business card. When I showed it to him, it was the business card for the local Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation in her condo town. She apologized & told myself and others that corporation was owned by her daughter.
