We are close to closing out July and that makes me happy.
And no, it’s not so the kids are back in school.
I happen to love having my kids around in the summer. In fact, it won’t be too long til we take our annual, end of summer vacation where our rental home comes with kicking HVAC cooling. No, I’m glad to see July coming to an end because that means we are about halfway through the toughest part of my year. Where I live there is just about no winter weather but we more than make up for that with high heat and humidity during the summer. That makes what I do for a living all that much more challenging when the temperatures are closing in on the century mark. I work outside as a landscape architect. While there are project site trailers with HVAC cooling and I also have an small office in town, I’m outside in the weather year round. But I also wouldn’t have it any other way either. I love being outside and I just deal with the summer. However, I do require some great HVAC cooling when I get home every day. This is no problem with the amazing HVAC equipment we have in our home. It’s just so efficient with a high SEER rating so it saves on natural resources while supply plenty of HVAC cooling comfort. I count on the smart thermostat to start cooling the house off a bit more just before I’m due to walk through the door at the end of the day. And that piece of HVAC technology has yet to let me down.
