I work at a fairly new hardware store in town.
The job is a pretty fascinating one, because I get to converse with all sorts of people from all walks of life on a daily basis. I also get to sell all sorts of interesting products that are centered around home improvement. One of the things that we sell are air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems. A really weird thing happened a couple days ago when it came to those air filters that we sell. The entirety of our stock was sold out within a single day. I’m not sure what on Earth happened. Perhaps everyone and their grandma suddenly desperately needed air filters for their HVAC systems, but I couldn’t figure it out and neither could any of the other employees. I had to make the appropriate calls to ensure that we were restocked with air filters as soon as possible. The funny thing is, we had just recently stocked up on our air filters and we still sold out! Well, at least the store was turning quite the profit from selling these air filters like hotcakes. Maybe when we restock the air filters we should put them on sale because I’m sure they would sell even faster that way! I took advantage of the fact that I worked at the store and I grabbed a few of the air filters for myself before they sold out again. That was an important thing, because my central heating and air conditioning system definitely needed it
