I work at a hardware store in town.
The job is pretty interesting because I get to deal with all kinds of people and I get to sell several different products for all kinds of home improvement and more. One of the things we sell are air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems. Well the one strange thing the other week was that we were all sold out of air filters within one day! We did not have a sale on the air filters or anything like that but sold out anyhow. I do not know if it was just the time of the year where everyone and their mothers decided to go buy air filters for their central heating and air conditioning systems or what. But we sold out. I had to call the supplier that we get the air filters from and order a whole stock of new ones. What was even more crazy was that we just had ordered a bunch of air filters and these were what all sold out! Well, it was good money for us and we made our profit. So maybe it will happen again with the new stock of air filters that I just ordered for the hardware store. Who knows. If this happened with the air filters at regular price, having them on sale would probably make them sell in a matter of hours I wouldn’t doubt. But I personally managed to grab a few of those air filters for myself before they were completely sold out. So that was a good thing. Because my central heating and air conditioning system needed them.
