Today is very humid and it is very warm in the house, so I’m going to turn on the air conditioner for a little while to cool it down a bit.
I used to live in flats with no climate control at all and it was terrible, because in the winter I would be freezing and in the summer it would be boiling hot, and I was never comfortable while living in those places.
It’s much better now because I have a central heating and cooling system that runs very efficiently and is very quiet. I try not to run it all the time though, because it can be expensive if it runs non-stop, so I like to try to limit it when possible and help cut down on the power bills that never cease to arrive on time. It’s funny how the power bills for the heating and cooling of the house always come exactly when they’re supposed to and they’re never late. Don’t these power companies ever take a break? I would love to get a letter from my power company saying “sorry we’re too busy and haven’t had time to send your bill yet, please forgive us”. I have to go to the heating and cooling corporation today and see if they have the new HEPA filters in because I have an odd sized HEPA filter and it usually takes a special order to get one. Once I do that I’m going to make a big salad and eat my lunch on the rooftop in the sunshine with the cats.
