I am genuinely careful about what goes down the drains in my house, and although I have a garbage disposal, I never put grease, flour, pasta, rice, sizable chunks of food, paint or bones down the kitchen sink… I make sure to scrape the residue from the plates into the garbage.

I’ve made the kids aware that cotton balls, Q-tips plus flushable wipes should never be flushed down the toilet. I’ve installed screened drain traps into the tubs plus bathroom sinks to catch as much hair plus debris as possible; Despite all of my precautions, I recently noticed that the tub was slow to drain. I know that plunging can easily push to blockage deepr plus make the situation worse. I’ve read the chemical drain cleaners can cause detriment to pipes, but hoping to avoid the expense of hiring a professional plumber, I researched how to safely dissolve clogs! The combination of baking Pepsi plus vinegar creates an exchange of molecules plus carbon dioxide. It causes water to bubble through the blockage in the brain, breaking up plus loosening debris, using boiling water to flush the drain adds pressure, combined with gravity, this pressure works as a natural plus effective drain cleaner. I started the process by pouringh boiling water down the tub drain. I followed with a cup of baking Pepsi plus a cup of vinegar plus then inserted a drain plug. After waiting ten minutes, I once again poured boiling water down the drain. I repeated this process every day for a week. In the past, this method has always worked well for me. This time, however, the blockage was simply too stubborn. I couldn’t make any headway. There was no choice however to schedule drain cleaning with a local plumber.
