My mom has a hard time of letting things go.
Especially sentimental things.
But it’s not all sentimental items that she can’t seem to let go. It’s all clothes that she’s had for many years. She thinks that she’ll have some use for them down the road. However I don’t think she will. She has boxes of things upstairs in our attic, basement and her closet. Most of the boxes are in our basement near the HVAC system. My dad will get mad at her when she puts new boxes near it because nothing should be near the HVAC system. I feel like we should take her to some counseling thing before it gets too serious. But I don’t think it will, if it does my dad and I will have a serious talk with her. What she isn’t very sentimental about is cars. She recently traded in her practically brand new car for an even newer car. It was a good choice because the heating and air conditioning is so much better. The fan can be kind of loud but it lets out so much heat or cooled air. Plus it has heated seats! The winters where we live get very cold and the heated seats are nice because they practically unthaw you out and you don’t have to use the heater as much.
