This year, I decided to buy my own RV
It was roughly a year ago when I asked my wife if she thought we should take the kids on an RV trip. She thought it sounded like a good idea and so I went to get a cheap RV for rent. The RV I thought was nice, and even the kids were excited about the trip we were going on. We wanted to explore the great outdoors and go to different camping destinations. Well, the first part of the trip was good while the climate control system was working great. When the weather started to become entirely hot, I had to adjust the temperature control to get the A/C working harder. Eventually though, the A/C system quit working altogether. We had to roll down all the windows in the RV and I wasn’t able to find a place that could repair our climate control system for a long time. We were absolutely suffering in the heat of the day, and only got relief during the night hours when things cooled off. The wife and kids were suddenly miserable and I felt like it was my fault. Fortunately, I ended up finding a place to repair the cooling system, but it cost a great deal of money. This year, I decided to buy my own RV. The difference is, I installed a ductless mini split hooked up to a solar panel system on the roof. This way, we won’t have any issues with the climate control system failing us! I hope everybody is down to go on another RV trip this year!
