Have you ever thought about the fact that sometimes seasoned university methods & equipment work better than the new stuff? MOst people under thirty would not even think that for a single hour; The younger someone is, the more likely it is that s/he will embrace new technology over the tried-and-true! Of course, I am not that way! Give myself and others the seasoned standby any morning of the week.
- Teach your kids to add & subtract, & using a calculator later is fine.
I have a new Heating & Air Conditioning system in our office suite. It has a smart temperature control. Yet, I can never get comfortable in the stupid site. Both our boss & I complain about the a/c all the time. I am positive that the property employer is completely sick of us. Because I can never truly depend on the Heating & Air Conditioning to supply comfort, I go seasoned university. In the corner of our office, I have a portable heating system & a box fan. Depending on the season or the temperature control reading, I have no qualms about pulling out either the heating system or the box fan if I need it. Even though it is now Springtime, & for the most part, it is tepid here, both of us do still have chilly days & afternoons. Since that is the case, I have pulled out our portable heating system on several a frosty morning at work. Do I guess I could replace the a/c with the box fan? Of course not, but when the a/c is just not doing the trick, it is nice to be able to plug in the box fan, like the manufactured breeze, & go seasoned university on that heating!
