Since the two of us have been working from home for the past year, we decided to treat ourselves to a spa weekend away from home.
I discovered a treehouse resort not far from where we lived, so I quickly booked us a room. Two of my biggest concerns about staying in the treehouse were the heat and air situation and the plumbing. I wanted the experience of the treehouse, but I also wanted to be relaxed and comfortable. I called the treehouse resort and asked them about the heat and air and plumbing and the receptionist assured me that there was both. This was good enough for me! When my friend and I arrived, the sun was setting and the temperature was dropping. We placed our bags on the bed and tried to find the thermostat. There wasn’t a thermostat on the wall, so we were confused. Before calling the front desk to ask about the heat, we read the instruction manual that was left for us. Inside, it went into detail about the ductless mini system above the bed. There was a remote on one of the tables that turned on the ductless mini split system and it also controlled the temperature. I thought it was going to take a long time for the ductless mini split system to heat the treehouse, but I was pleasantly surprised when it only took 5 minutes to feel the warmth!
