When I started hearing a strange noise coming from the air conditioner, I thought it might be time to tune up the entire HVAC unit.
Normally, my wife and I have the HVAC unit serviced once a year. I made an appointment for Tuesday afternoon, when I renew my wife and I would both be home at the same time. In the event of an emergency, I wanted both of us to be able to make a decision. After the HVAC technician looked at our system, the two of us found out that we needed a new blower motor. The blower motor was going bad and this was the sound that we continued to hear every day. The price of the new blower motor was a little more expensive than the two of us anticipated. We had to pay $1,200 for the machine and the installation fees. Luckily, the blower solved the problem with the HVAC unit. The air coming out of the ductwork is cold and The flow of air is powerful. After the blower motor was installed, the HVAC technician performed a full tune up service so we don’t have to worry about that in the near future. I’m thankful that my wife and I have a reliable and trustworthy HVAC service company to call in the event of an emergency. It makes it easier to trust the advice of the expert.
