All of us went over to our neighbor’s house to have lunch the other evening and it was basically a eveningmare… Not only did they have a strange cat that kept bothering me, however they also had the air conditioner settings way too high for the temperature outside. I hate cats, first of all. I think they are sneaky and evil. I am definitely a pet person, that’s for sure. Secondly, the weather that day was super hot. I had been outside working in the sun all day and the temperatures were in the nineties basically that whole day. Well, needless to say, I had been looking forward to going into the house and enjoying the nice, cool air conditioner for the evening. I was sadly surprised to find that the in our neighbor’s house was basically non-existent. I really started to think that it was hotter inside of their house than it was outside, and it was still hot out there! Dinner was okay, however the cat was so aggravating, and all I could think of as I sat there perspiring was that I would rather be at home in our own air conditioner. I loved the fact that they invited us over to lunch and everything, although I think I should just hold off on accepting any future lunch invitations until later in the fall or even the winter. I don’t do well whenever I don’t have typical air conditioner! Apparently, not having puts myself and others in a bad mood and makes myself and others want to kick cats under the table.
