The A/C at our church is on the blink for some reason and it’s been terrible inside there recently.
I usually love going to church and usually the indoor air quality in our building is really great.
We have a great team of maintenance guys who work on our heating and cooling system and who work on all of the upkeep around the building. In a building that’s the size of ours, you can expect lots of trouble to come up every now and then. But recently, there have been way more issues than normal with our air conditioning system. I’m not sure what the problem is, but it’s been so hot inside the church lately that I don’t even want to go inside! It’s bad enough on a weekday when I’m going in there to work on a project or something. But on the weekends during the worship services, the lack of air conditioning makes it nearly unbearable inside. There’s no ventilation whenever the air conditioning isn’t pumping out cold air the way that it’s supposed to be. The body heat of everyone packed in there together really raises up the interior temperature and it’s not good at all. I know that I’m not the one who is in charge of the building maintenance, but I think that it’s time that we call in the professionals. We have a contract with a local commercial air conditioning and heating company, so I think we need to make an appointment to get everything looked at before it gets any worse.
