I was kind of surprised when my wife started talking to me about what kind of HVAC system we should replace our old HVAC with. I asked her if there was something wrong with our HVAC since last I knew it was working great. She said it was just kind of old and it wasn’t nearly as energy efficient as the modern HVAC systems are. I supposed she was right, but I didn’t want to try to fix something that was not broken. Then she said we could always sell our old HVAC system for parts or something, and then we could get our new energy efficient system that would save us huge money in the long run. When she put it that way, I thought it wasn’t such a bad idea. So long as I can see the logic behind any given argument, I can get on board with it usually. My wife is always coming up with interesting ideas and I always hear her out. Of course, sometimes I don’t agree with her but it’s no big deal. We simply talk about it and then move on to something else. Well, this idea of selling the old HVAC was very interesting indeed. I called a good friend who knew about selling stuff like that and said he could find me a buyer. I ended up having someone come over to check the HVAC and they even removed everything after purchasing the HVAC for a generous amount. They said they didn’t make HVAC systems like these anymore. It kind of made me wonder if we were making the right move, but we ended up getting radiant heated floors and a ductless mini split A/C. The new HVAC is so energy efficient and comfortable, I’m always telling my wife I’m glad we did this.
