All I have been seeing lately is heater maintenance advertisements on the television. It seems like every HVAC company in town wants everybody to pay them money to get their heating equipment in order. It’s appropriate though because of course we all need to have our heating equipment working well throughout the cold season. If your heater were to break down, you’ll find yourself in a pretty dangerous situation. The pipes can freeze in your house and not to mention, you and your loved ones could freeze to death. While I do get annoyed by all the HVAC commercials, it actually prompts me to call up my regular HVAC company that I typically utilize. I have always gone through these guys because they are a family owned business and their HVAC professionals have always been genuine. These guys never try to twist your arm or give you a hard time. They tell you straight up what is happening with the HVAC equipment and what needs to be done. They don’t put on any pressure, but they do warn that if you skip out on important HVAC maintenance before the peak heating and cooling seasons, you might be putting yourself at risk. It’s something I understand all too well these days. I have been asked a few times if I would be interested in enrolling into an HVAC service plan, but I’m not sure that I want to commit to any contracts, even though these guys seem entirely trustworthy. I think I’ll give it another year, and then I’ll consider enrolling into an HVAC service plan.
