I do my best to just get along with people, but confrontation has its place for sure but, it’s absolutely not my go to thing.
Reasonable people can respectfully come to a good solution that benefits both parties to some facet. Actually, I spend all day in offices with zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and air conditioning systems negotiating like this for a living. However, a key piece to that ingredient is good people. I’ve been trying to deal with our HOA reasonably over a minor Heating as well as Air Conditioning issue. But they are anything however sufficient. What happened was that a flower bed died in my grass. This flower bed hid the Heating as well as Air Conditioning cupboard from the road which is some sort of technicality apparently. The fact is that once the Summer time is over, I can replant that flower bed. It’s just that easy. Nope, the HOA wants me to build a fence on their standard. I was unsure with this response as well as yet I still took a constructive tone with this HOA board. Again, I explained the situation as well as the remedy that was upcoming. This time, they threatened me with legal action. Well so much for diplomacy as well as good people figuring things out. So now comes the fight. So, it seems utterly idiotic that the HOA can’t wait morre than 6 weeks so the 2 of us can plant something that will live. And I am not building their fence or any fence for that matter. I don’t want to be this way but I’m going to throw a seriously bloodthirsty attorney at this situation.
