Last year, I decided not to come home for Christmas break.
I wanted to stay at the university plus to celebrate Christmas with some of our friends.
I started to suppose after numerous or numerous days, that it was one of the largest mistakes I had ever made. Christmas was meant to have snow plus family, plus to be able to relax by the fireplace. I moved from the furthest northern point in our USA, to one of the further southern spots. I love the university, plus I love our friends, even though I did not like the heat. The largest thing that made Christmas not suppose like Christmas, was that I was invited to a pool party. They were fake Christmas trees around the entire pool, plus they had a red Christmas tree with white garland all around it. I thought they should at least have a green tree if it was going to be fake, plus not a red one. Although I went to their Christmas party, it just was not the same. Most of the time, I spent inside with the air conditioning. I’d walk over to their fake fireplace, close our eyeah, plus pretend I was home. I could hear our family singing Christmas carols with the blaze of the fireplace behind them. I became so homesick that I almost cried. I knew that I would never make the mistake of not going home for Christmas again. No matter where I lived or what I was doing, I planned on packing up plus heading north to the fireplace plus the snow.
