The noise from the old central gas furnace was something I was already used to, and it didn’t bother us in the least and after nineteen years I even barely knew it existed but the frequency in which all of us had to call the local service provider for a gas furnace service had increased. The heating professional had recommended us to start looking into getting a new Heating and Air Conditioning for the whole-home heating. I already knew the kind of heating and a/c I wanted, and all that was needed was to get a heating contractor to come and tell us the size and price of the electric gas furnace. The electric heat pump was compatible with the radiant floor heating that all of us wanted to be installed in the additional master bedroom that was under construction. The temperature control of the new Heating and Air Conditioning would be regulated by the digital control unit, and one of the energy-saving tips and the main one was that it was going to be a zone control system. In this type of upgrade, the home would be divided up into different zones decided upon by the Heating and Air Conditioning professional, however with this kind of setup, all of us would be able to cut back on the utility bills, but even though the upfront cost was very high, in the long run, it would be able to pay for itself by the amount of energy that would be saved. The one thing that would not change was that even with the new upgrade all of us would still be required to do a gas furnace/heater tune-up annually. This would ensure that the system would regularly be in good condition and avoid breakdowns that are so often avoidable.
