With it being winter, you would’ve thought it would be safe to get out of the vehicle for about 10 minutes, & leave the ice cream setting.
When I came back out to the car, I realized that the sun coming through the window had heated the vehicle up.
Solar heating could be much more devastating than the heating of an Heating & Air Conditioning system. The sun was coming right through the window & hitting the bin the ice cream was in. I knew I was going to have a mess when I opened up that bag, however I still stadiumd it on the floor. I suppose I should’ve gone back into the store to get more ice cream, however I wasn’t thinking entirely well at that moment. I hopped into the vehicle & turned on the heating. Now I had 1 more problem, because the back seat gas furnaces blew right onto the floor of the backseat. The ice cream that may not have been melted was now totally melted & start to flow through the packaging that it was in. I opened up the back window hoping to get some of the chilly air from outside, however the car’s Heating & Air Conditioning system was too good. It right away picked up on the chilly air coming through the window & tried to keep the heat running high enough to keep the temperature up in the backseat. I am thrilled I have such an amazing Heating & Air Conditioning system in our car. I just wish I had thought more about the ice cream in the bin before putting it on the seat where solar heating could melt it.
