I am just saying in the sense that I will feel more comfortable with the chief heating and air conditioning specialist if they are a personal friend, that is all
While I was at work today at the heating and air conditioning company that I work for I was so happy to see one of my co-workers get a promotion! I knew they had been striving for this for a long time and all their hard work paid off. They got promoted to chief heating and air conditioning specialist. I could have went for this promotion myself, but even though it would have meant a little more pay, I felt this job was not for me and I was totally happy at being your regular certified heating and air conditioning specialist. But my co-worker is a pal of mine so that made me even more happy for him. The fact that he will be the new chief heating and air conditioning specialist makes it even better for me because it is good to have a friend in that position. I am not talking about getting special favors or anything like that. I am just saying in the sense that I will feel more comfortable with the chief heating and air conditioning specialist if they are a personal friend, that is all. I have been working here about the same amount of time as him, which is a little over 10 years. I plan to just stay as I am until I retire or get a better offer from another heating and cooling company. As I mentioned, the chief heating and air conditioning specialist job just wasn’t for me because I am no good at being a manager of any sorts.
