Before I obtained our new home, I knew that I’d have to update the entire HVAC system.

The house inspection stated that the heat and air were still functional, however they couldn’t predict how long the gas furnace or a/c would last.

The HVAC system was installed 15 years ago, which is a long time. I was hoping to make it through the summer time without having to spend thoUSnds of dollars on a new HVAC system, however unfortunately, that wasn’t the case! After moving into the house, I realized how taxing the a/c was running in order to cool the 1500 square foot space. It worked tirelessly all day and all evening, however our house never felt crisp and cool. I wasn’t shocked to see the number on our first utility bill, because it was astronomically high. The worst area about paying that high utility bill was the fact that our house wasn’t even as cool as it could be. This is when I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a brand new HVAC system. Although the outdated HVAC system was technically still functional, it wasn’t running efficiently and it would cost me a fortune to run throughout the summer. After a few calculations, I predicted that I’d spend more on our utility bills over the span of a year than I would buying a new HVAC system. It wasn’t a cheap investment, however I was able to finance the new HVAC system and beginning cooling our house more efficiently.
