My husband owns a local heating and cooling company here in town and during all of the shutdowns, he thought that it was really important to try and be extra supportive of everyone in the community.
At that time, I wasn’t really sure if it was the greatest idea to be doing all of these free good deeds, but he was pretty adamant about it.
It’s his HVAC company, after all, so I just let him do whatever he thought was best. I was a little bit afraid that we were going to start losing money and end up having to close the HVAC company or something horrible like that, but my husband had faith in his good deeds. It ended up turning out for the very best, just like he always thought that it would. See, all of those people that he gave out free air filters to during the pandemic ended up coming back to see him for all of their heating and cooling needs once everything started getting back to normal. I guess they remembered who in the community was trying to do good things and help people out and my husband’s HVAC company really seemed to stick in their minds. At this point, my husband’s HVAC company is busier than it ever was prior to all of the shutdowns and uncertainty of last year. I’m proud of him for always trying to do the right thing and it’s really come back to bless us all in the long run. I think that his business is going to be flourishing for a long time to come.
