Every morning presents its share of challenges and beautiful moments when you are laboring as a nurse in a nursing home! You get to hear stories of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren from the residents. As I was doing our rounds, I noticed that the air conditioning system in one of the rooms was not laboring since it was easily hot and stuffy. I called the local repair provider and told them about it. They assured me that they would send a cooling expert to the nursing lake home as soon as possible. In the meantime, I had to transfer the resident to the lounge area which was more comfortable than the room. As I continued doing our rounds I was keener but all the other rooms were okay. In an hour the local corporation had sent a cooling workman! She inspected the settings on the Wi-Fi thermostat and proceeded to the room. After the inspection, she found out that the multi split air conditioning unit in the room had a concern and fixed it. She proceeded to the outdoor heat pump and inspected it just to be sure nothing was wrong and also to prevent any issue that could come up. The heat pump upgrade was found to be in good condition so the cooling specialist gathered her tools and left. I was not even sure about the type of air conditioning system set up I had at home, the cooling industry was easily foreign to me. Every time I opened our browser to find out more about air conditioning I ended up looking at other things instead.
